Meet Our Providers

Lisa K. Gidday, MD (Founding Partner)
Lisa Gidday, MDA native of Michigan, Dr. Gidday attended Hope College where she graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Biology in 1982. Having fallen in love with Colorado on a family ski trip to Vail in 1976, she moved to Boulder after graduating from college to begin her pursuit of a medical career. Dr. Gidday attended the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center School of Medicine from 1983-1987 where she earned her Medical degree.

Dr. Gidday then spent the next 3 years in Arizona completing her Internship and Residency with Good Samaritan Hospital and the Veterans Administration’s Internal Medicine Training Program. She spent an additional year at the VA Hospital as a Staff Teaching Attending for the Residency Program she just completed.

Having a desire to move back to Colorado after living in Arizona for 4 years, Dr. Gidday sought an opportunity to start private practice in Littleton in 1991. Two years later she founded Arapahoe Internal Medicine which today is a thriving group of 5 Internists and one Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Gidday has a particular interest in Geriatrics as well as general Internal Medicine. She is an advocate of preventive medicine strategies and wellness approaches to living. She also has an interest in women’s health, osteoporosis and menopause management.
Charles C. Lee, MD
Charles Lee, MDDr. Charles C Lee is a board certified physician in internal medicine, and has practiced internal medicine since 1991. He was born in Seoul, Korea, and came to US at the age of 16. He studied cell-biology at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and received his M.D at Oral Roberts University School of Medicine. He further pursued an internship at UCLA-San Fernando Valley, and a residency in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boston. Prior to joining Arapahoe Internal Medicine in 1999, he had served as a practicing internist, HMO medical director and later as a Chief of Medicine for BJC (Barns Jewish Christian) Health System in St. Louis, Mo.

Dr. Lee enjoys to ski, snowboard, and wakeboard with his wife and three children, and considers his Christian faith as a foundation for his life’s work. He is a co-founder of Global Outreach with Medical Dental Services, and is passionate about medical mission works in under-served areas of the world. In addition to general internal medicine, Dr. Lee is interested in medical acupuncture, trigger point injection techniques for myofacial pain syndrome and Botox injection.
Joseph Ladika, MD
Joseph Ladika, MDDr. Ladika hails from Reading, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, graduating with a degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. After pursuing basic research in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, he returned to Philadelphia for Medical School at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. While there, his extracurricular activities focused on community service. He served as president of the American Medical Students Association, Jefferson Chapter, and volunteered at the Jeff HOPE homeless clinic in West Philadelphia. Residency was served at the University of Michigan Medical Center.

Following residency, he was selected as a faculty lecturer in the Division of General Internal Medicine, University of Michigan Medical School. Dr. Ladika continued with his passion for the underserved by working as a staff physician at the Oneida Community Health Center outside of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Dr. Ladika is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine. His interests include hypertension, diabetes, fitness, and the care of the elderly. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his kids, teaching Sunday school, cooking, running and skiing.
Dawn Baker, MD
Dawn Baker, MDDr. Dawn Baker was born and raised in Arizona. She earned a degree in Microbiology, graduating cum laude with honors from Northern Arizona, where she held multiple leadership roles. During medical school she loved internal medicine because it provided intellectual challenges along with the ability to make a difference in the lives of patients. She chose to move to Oregon for residency at Providence Portland Medical Center, where she had the opportunity to train with some of the leading specialists in the nation. During these years, volunteering in the US and overseas was a joy for her.

Dr. Baker and her husband had a desire to be with family and moved to beautiful, sunny Colorado. She was impressed with the values, work ethics, and zest for life held by the other providers at Arapahoe Internal Medicine. Her special interests within medicine include cardiology, women’s health, and diabetes management. She hopes to develop strong relationships with her patients and be involved in their overall wellbeing. Her interests outside of medicine include skiing, hiking, running, travel, and photography.
Lyn Tison, MSN NP-C
Lyn Tison, MSN NP-CA native of northern California, Lyn Tison is a nurse practitioner (NP) certified as an Adult NP through the American Nurses Association. Originally a graduate of a diploma school of nursing, she graduated from the University of San Francisco (BSN) in 1980 and from the University of California at San Francisco (MSN) in 1982.

She moved to Colorado after completing her MSN degrees. After working as a nurse educator and manager, including a stint with the U.S. Antarctic Program in 1996 she graduated from the Beth El College Nurse Practitioner program in Colorado Springs which is now a part of the University of Colorado system. She has had varied experiences as a NP, including occupational health, internal and family medicine and research. Special interests include primary care, allergy and asthma as well as geriatrics. In her leisure time she enjoys being out doors, photography, gardening, volunteering for several organizations and spending time with her dogs and parrots.
